Student Council / Leadership

There are multiple ways to be a leader at Borel. One is to apply for and take the 7/8 Leadership Elective taught by. Ms. Fitzpatrick. Another way is to join the Student Council Club. Ms. Smith leads the 6th grade club and Ms. Fitz leads the 7/8th club. The clubs meet during lunch. We have peer mentors, office aides and teacher aides where students can develop in their leadership skills. We also advertise additional opportunities through our announcements to get involved in leadership opportunities like Site Council, Principal Brunch Circles, 6th Grade Orientation Speakers and Promotion speakers.
