Borel Music Needs Your Support

Welcome to the 2020-2021 School Year! This will be an extraordinary and unpredictable year, but we still need your support to give ALL music students a dynamic, fun and engaging music program. In a typical year, Borel Music is 100% funded by donations and live concert concession/flower sales. As we move to virtual concerts this year, Booster donations at any level are even more critical to support:

• Classes taught by our amazing music staff

• Virtual Concerts

• Instruments, music, and teaching to all students in our Borel community

• Smart Music online accounts

• Music Coaches

• Opportunities for qualified students to perform and study advanced music

If you are able to support Borel Music financially, please complete the online form found here and follow the instructions for submitting your donation. NEW THIS YEAR—All Music Booster Members donating $150 and above will receive a 3”x 5” car bumper magnet! All donations in any amount are greatly appreciated. Thank you to all the families that have already donated to Music Boosters!

Club Time: We love to have students connect with each other. One way to do that is to join a club. In this section, we’ll share information about different clubs and how to sign up. Let’s get started with Running Club!

• Running Club: Our club's ultimate goal is to make and maintain connections in a safe and positive environment. Since this is a student club, our students get to decide what we do. Please fill out the Form posted here and on School Loop News to let us know how YOU want to have fun TOGETHER. https://bit.ly/borelrunningclubform

Technology

As much as possible, we are asking that students turn on their cameras in order to engage with their teachers and peers.

Parents’ Corner

Dear Borel Families:

We hope the school year is off to a good start! We know you have been receiving various requests for donations. We realize they are all important and need your support. Unfortunately, there is a gap between what our school needs per student and what Borel receives from the State. Borel Boosters relies on its community to provide essential funding to help bridge this gap. A few examples that are funded by Borel’s Boosters are:

• Instructional materials, online subscriptions, and supplemental materials

• Professional development

• Stipends to all teachers to support their needs

• Provide additional office support

• Parent educational events

Regardless of whether students are learning remotely or on campus, Borel needs our support! How can you donate?

On-line: Any and all amounts are welcome. You can make one payment or installment payments. Donate here.

Check: Make a check payable to Borel Middle School PTA and drop it off at the Borel Front Office or mail to:

Don't forget about corporate matching!

Thank you for your support,
